ABOUT / 01The workshop
Independent by
construction.
The Unicorn Garden is an independent workshop for electronic instruments, software synthesizers, and strange machines for making sound.
//Why this exists
It comes from the overlap between software engineering and electronic music: a respect for systems, and a need for things to feel good under the hands.
We are interested in instruments that are clear without being obvious, technical without feeling cold, and useful long after the novelty wears off.
The first instrument is being built now. The name is not final. The point is.
